poet / photographer / therapist

Co-founder of Becoming // Poetry

i am a maker, a lover, a creator, a wife, a mother, a writer, and a therapist — i could go on. i live in colorado springs, where the mountains swoon me in and have been a huge part of this story of mine. i am married to the man of my dreams and prayers. we have a sweet pup named Jupiter, and a miracle babe named Arken. I love the simple things in life — road trips, board games, worship, ice cream, coffee, and creating.

i began sharing my writing a handful of years back when my heart felt more ache than it could handle - writing has been this sense of release for me ever sense, an escape for my feelings to make sense, and a connecting piece in so many ways! writing is now a ministry and an awakening for me and i have officially self published my first poetry collection - Beyond The Yellow Door. all for love, with love, and because of love.

i am also a certified splankna therapist — a christian based mind-body protocol that uses prayer + muscle testing to find the emotions from traumas that are stored in the body based on the bodies meridian system. i would love to schedule a session with you. I host a podcast called “The Splankna Conversation” as well.

lastly, my heart completely comes alive when i get to document sacred moments. my favorite of course, is capturing birth. i thrive in the middle of sacred + honest moments that get to be frozen in time through my camera — a gift for you to hold onto for the rest of your days that will never be given back. my style is very warm and raw, detailed and lifestyle focused. film is my forte. i’d love to capture your sacred moment or be a part of your birth team!

“Peyton is an astounding creative and connecter, and is reckless with encouragement – it spills out solely from her existence.”
